NIL Donor Public Policy Statement: Community Conduct Guidelines

NIL Donor Public Policy Statement
Creating a Safe and Respectful Community for Families, Donors, and Supporters of College Students

Welcome to NIL Donor. We are honored to support a network of individuals and families who share a common purpose: enabling equitable access to campus visits and in-person support for NCAA student-athletes—especially those in non-revenue sports. Our community includes donors, parents, volunteers, and advocates from all backgrounds. The following public policy guidelines help ensure our interactions reflect our shared values of respect, fairness, and service.

Core Values:

  • Support families and students with dignity.

  • Foster inclusive, fact-based dialogue.

  • Protect our nonprofit mission from disruption or abuse.

General Guidelines:

  • Be Respectful: Communicate constructively. Treat everyone—parents, students, donors, and staff—with kindness and respect.

  • No Personal Attacks: Harassment, name-calling, or insults of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Racism, sexism, ableism, and all forms of hate speech are strictly prohibited.

  • Safe Environment for All: Sexual harassment, intimidation, or any unwelcome attention will result in immediate removal.

  • Support, Not Harm: We advocate for fairness and opportunity, not harm or hostility toward student-athletes, coaches, or institutions.

  • No Misinformation: We are a facts-first nonprofit. Do not spread misleading claims, especially those that undermine our mission.

  • No Promotion of Illegal Activity: We do not allow any content that endorses or makes light of criminal behavior, including violence, hazing, or assault.

  • Keep It Professional: Avoid explicit content, excessive profanity, or any behavior that violates our standard of family-appropriate communication.

  • No Troll Accounts or Spam: Multiple accounts, fake emails, trolling behavior, and spam links are grounds for removal.

Community Enforcement Policy:

  • Content or conduct that violates this policy will be flagged, reviewed, and removed.

  • Offenders may receive a warning, suspension, or permanent ban, at the discretion of our community moderators and staff.

  • NIL Donor reserves the right to remove any individual or group that disrupts our charitable mission or puts families at risk.
